Sea The Stars Wins Again

SEA THE STARS confirmed his place as the world’s highest rated racehorse when he won the Group One Juddmonte International Stakes on the first day of the York Ebor Festival meeting, beating the Aidan O’Brien trained Mastercraftsman by a length.

Winner of the 2000 Guineas, the Derby and the Coral Eclipse, it was the fourth Group One victory of the season for the John Oxx-trained colt, who was given another good ride by jockey Mick Kinane.

Next month’s Tattersalls Millions Irish Champion Stakes could be the next port of call for the champion at Leopardstown, providing the ground is not too soft.
