Centennial Farms Offers Smarty Jones Partnership

Centennial Farms' Smarty Jones ColtPurchased for $600,000 from the Fasig-Tipton Saratoga Selected Yearling sale, this colt is being syndicated at $750,000, which includes all expenses through the end of 2008. The colt’s half-sister is turf star Megans Bluff. Investment is accepted from 5% total ownership at $37,500. This colt is currently in Middleburg, Virginia receiving his training with Paula Parsons.

“We have purchased five Grade I winners from this sale and hope this colt will become the sixth,” said Don Little, Jr. “He is a high-class prospect and one of the most exciting prospects we have seen in years.”

“I think he had the best walk of any yearling I’ve seen,” said Frank Taylor of Taylor Made Farm. “He has an unbelievable walk and is an absolutely beautiful horse. I think Smarty Jones has some really nice horses, and this one is one of the best I’ve seen.”
