Flying Dutchman’s Bunker Hill Tries For Second Stakes Win

Bunker HillFlorida bred Bunker Hill, who won stakes debut in the Continental Mile goes on Saturday for his second stakes,  the $100,000 Go For The Green Juvenile Stakes at Delaware Park. For Rich Sorge, one of the principals in Flying Dutchman Thoroughbreds LLC, which bred Bunker Hill along with the late Dennis Barbierri, the horse has been a joy.

He describes the 2-year-old son of former Ocala Stud stallion Trippi, as a professional with heart galore. He loves to train and loves being a racehorse,” Sorge said. “He’s got a little attitude to him. He tries to mess with you. He’s always trying to get the better of you if he can.”
