If you go to the Blood Horse’s website ( http://www.bloodhorse.com ) on the right hand side they have links to various webpages arranged by type (starts with farms, account wagering, etc.). If you scroll down there is a section on partnerships. Some of the ones in the NY area are Parting Glass Racing, Karrakorum, West Point, etc. One that is not listed is Castle Village Farm http://www.castlevillagefarm.com/
I highly recommend checking out the Thoroughbred Owners and Breeders Association (TOBA). They have a very informative website and also hold new owner seminars around the country. http://www.toba.org/
Lastly, before joining a partnership consider posting questions on one (or more) of the many thoroughbred racing web forums. You can get first-hand reactions from current and former members of a number of syndicates there. There are some very good syndicates and syndicate managers out there and then there are some real sleazy ones. Visit http://www.thoroughbredchampions.com , http://www.finalturn.com , http://www.pedigreequery.com/forum, etc.

I know Country LIfe Farm forms partnerships that race some horses in New York. This is their website:http://www.countrylifefarm.com/
You might give them a call. If they don’t offer what you’re looking for, I’ll bet they could refer you to someone who will.
    Good luck!
