Horseplayers Racing Club Welcomes New Filly

Horseplayers Racing Club, LLC, welcomes Appealing Resume to the stable. This two-year-old filly won her first start against Maiden Special Weight company at Golden Gate way back in April. After a five month layoff, she tired and ran fourth in her second start after making the lead turning for home. She came out of the race with sore shins and subsequently became available as a private purchase opportunity for us. She’s been turned out for a few months and will gear back up for opening day at Emerald Downs in April 2010.

The quick filly is by Successful Appeal, ranked 68th on the national sire standings at this time. He’s sired 9 2009 stakes winners. She’s out of stakes winner Strong Credentials, by Carson City. The filly is already a half-sister to a stakes-placed winner. The second dam is a $205,237 stakes winning daughter of Vice Regent.
