Hot n’ Dusty, owned by Little Red Feather and her breeder, Madeline Auerbach, won under a hand ride by Alex Solis on the turf at Hollywood Park last night. Hot n’ Dusty is a four year old bay filly by Unusual Heat, out of Eager Dusty, by Eager Eagle. She won $39,000 for her partners, boosting her career earnings to more than $170,000.

Unusual Heat, her sire has his own website and Facebook page. He has the distinction of being all time single year record holder for California stallion progeny earnings with $5,827,513 in 2008.
