Little Red Feather Buys Two Yearlings At Keenland

Little Red Feather has announced two new yearling purchases from the Keeneland September sale in Lexington, KY for client Paul S. Chacon. “We couldn’t be more thrilled with our two fillies,” says managing partner Billy Koch. “In a tough environment where the good horses brought the big money, we think we found two excellent racing prospects.”

The two fillies are by 2005 Horse of the Year and Breeders’ Cup Classic Champion Saint Liam and by leading sire Indian Charlie. They will be immediately shipped to Florida for breaking by Little Red Feather blockstock advisor Tom McCrocklin. “Any time you can go to a sale like Keeneland and come out with two exceptionally bred fillies, it’s a success,” he said. “We’ll take them home to Florida and get them both broken in. They seem like real classy fillies and I look forward to getting them to their prospective trainers next year.”
