Team Valor Internation Reach 50 Win Milestone

When Miller Time, a four year old  owned by Team Valor International, crossed the line three quarters of a length to the good in a handicap race at Arlington Park in South Africa recently, he made Team Valor International history by achieving milestone victory number 50, making it the first time that the Kentucky-based racing stable had won as many as half a century of races in a single season.

This season they have achieved 50 winners from 256 starts for a winning strike rate of 19.57 percent, which is slightly above the yearly winning average of 19 percent with nearly 3,500 starts since their inception in 1987.

With 2 ½ months remaining in the year, Team Valor are hoping they can reach 60 winners,” Barry Irwin, owner of Team Valor International, believes  that with just a little luck it is within their reach.
